Hi everyone my name is Cole and I’ve suffered with SD for 3 1/2 years (I’m 21).
My first encounter with SD was during my first year working for my university degree. It started with two small spots on the side of my nose (like Michael A.) and was easily controlled for a year with ketaconazole. Shortly after that year and many stressful jobs and temporary remedies my SD has butterflied out onto my cheeks and T-zone/ eyebrows. I primarily live in a very cold climate (think Canada/Alaska because it’s winter 7 months out of the year) with a lot of wind.
Some remedies I have tried:
-Raw honey and water was the most successful natural remedy.
-ACV diluted with water.
-Anti-bacterials and many lotions.
-The dreaded corticosteriods.
However, unlike many of you Biom8 did not work as well for me as it did you…BUT, I have more faith in Michael’s research because he is motivated by his own struggle with SD and understands what we are going through more than most dermatologists will. That is why I still look at his research and was very eager to try this test group. Let me know if any of you have questions about my journey or need to bounce ideas off of someone.
Good luck everyone and I hope you all find some improvement.
